I'm pretty new to the site, and have clearly realized that every incredibly amazing game no matter how simple requires thorough knowledge of coding in gml and or perhaps other programing languages. I'm guessing the lot of you have read books on coding in gml and such, or have gotten your coding knowhow from other souces.
If anyone has any references, sources, or advice they could share that would be great, and I would be very greatful.
Hi there, and welcome to 64digits. please donate your sanity to the homeless, be aware that most of us are AWOL from our brains.
If something goes wrong, melee-master did it.Two things:1) Short blog, it needs to at least fill the input box.2) We aren't exactly… expert here. :(3) If you need any help, just drop me a line.Enjoy your stay :D
Just a quick thing: Grammar is appreciated, so keep it up :D

Welcome to the site and please ignore Sk8m8trix. Someone appears to have unbanned him.
64Digits is my favourite course, and as of now there arn't really any book of gml, theres one but don't expect to learn anything.
Welcome anyway! Thanks for that tidbit Mat. I heard there might be a book but I guess it's just an extended overview of those tutorial games on the Yo Yo Games site. Using the drag and drop tiles they already give you seems ok but I'd like to use gml coding more to get a smoother game without so many annoying glitches.
