So yeah, if you live in England you'll know about the raise of uni fees and the protests to follow. Well in my maths class (:O i go to school) a fire bell went off. *dingle dingle dingle dingle dingle* We all went outside and saw the protesters… with signs, "Uni for BOFFS not TOFFS" :). Twas quite cool but i didn't go with them :/ , meant I had to walk :O anyway yeah, I still agree with them but seriously, I wouldnt think they would care :(.

It was still good because my school is really boring, nothing ever happens. We also missed like all of maths ^.^

Also was anyone on minecraft yesterday, i was bored :P

meh, i wasn't angry enough to go. sure the government is screwing our country over, but thats no change from normal really…

It's about time I read about this on 64digits. The cops went as far as shutting down a website offering advice to protesters (it's back up now though).

The UK has had some limited success with this kind of thing (remember the poll tax?), and if you do nothing then of course things are going to stay the same. So do something more than turning up at the ballot box every few years (if that), because direct action is the closest thing to democracy anyone can realistically expect to get.

This right here is some great coverage of the goings-on. This is stuff nobody should allow to continue being business as usual.
