Umm, I'm not sure how to put this. My storyline for my game isn't exactly the most creative one. I'd like some ideas for my game's storyline.
Right now it's just that humans now have space tech, blablabla, aliens show up, aliens are made of crystal, etc.The thing is, It needs to be in space, and it needs to have Quadium, a crystal that can be turned into metal through refining.Anyway, any ideas?

Honestly, I'd start by getting rid of the crystal-based aliens and the Quadium concept ;) I don't really know why, it sounds a bit lame as a general concept, but maybe I'm just too used to all those cliché sci-fi flicks. So don't listen to me.

Science fail?If you want people to help you, I'd recommend giving them a lot more to work with. Giving them vague concepts and saying "write my story" isn't going to get you the desired results.
Rather write a storyline out yourself, and ask us to give opinions, ideas, corrections and what not.If the aliens are made of crystal, weapons will have to be fire based, so you can change the alien's shape into a vase or something less threatening than an enemy.
Now on the helping you with the story part, I'll go with Mush.Spray Quadium all over the invaders and stick them in a furnace? Sounds like a good idea.
No, but really, you could have the humans develop a gun to spray Quadium all over an alien, and lead them into Earth's atmosphere, thus creating a metal shell around them.
