After dropping game design to finish exams, then deciding I was ready to complete some of my long overdue projects. Woke up one morning, nice and early. Walked down stairs, grabbed a cup of tea and clicked the power button. As usual my CPU fan revs up to resemble a leaf blower, the power light blinks and… and… *beeeeep* *beeeeep*. Turned it off, repeated… Puzzled I left it off for an hour, checked my motherboard connections… started it again… powers on, leaf blower on… nothing… Removed everything from the PC, left only CPU, Ram and Graphics Card. Starts and then does nothing… I swapped graphics cards, starts up and nothing… no beeps… no display… After browsing the internet I discovered I probably had a corrupted BIOS and bootloader. So, that means I am going to have to spend $30 on a new BIOS chip ordered from overseas which may take weeks to arrive. I tried auto-flashing… nothing seemed to work… So anyway, now I am running on an outdated 1GHz Celeron with 256mb of ram and an 8mb built-in VGA card (can't boost that because of the extreme need for all the available Ram). Luckily my hard drive is unharmed, bit alas Game Maker refuses to operate on my Dad's outdated ox wagon which sounds much like an old fridge or freezer).
Luckily I recently got a pool table/dining room table so I have been able to have some fun, that and playing Oblivion (which I completed) and Gears of War (nearly there). Luckily theres no holidays soon so I hopefully won't go insane. Lucky my hard drive survived otherwise I wouldn't have been able to reprint that Economics project my teacher lost (or somebody who really hates me took). Been spending much of my time coaxing my dad's old ox wagon to operate faster (hmmm, maybe I should install Linux?).Hopefully now that my mom got promoted to Managing Director (basically second-in-command) I will be able to purchase that PC I wanted to build, that and when that BIOS chip arrives I can give my dad my old PC so he doesn't constantly tell me this or that is not working which is normally resolved by a slam to the side of the case or just above the CD-Rom drive and just maybe a kick to the other side of the case. And to add to my suffering the Steers (fast food burger place) down the road has gone halaal which effectively means no bacon or pork which means the only reason I go their is for ice creams (here theirs either wind, rain or insane heat). I can't seem to see why the Muslims think they need to force their beliefs onto everyone else.Courage"Still insane!"
mmmmm.. bacon…
Too many words!!!!
btw you can remove the squares on AAAlogo :p Unless of course you like the squares on your banner.
