GM on Steam

I know, this sounds like a rip-off of my previous blog about a GM example on Steam, but it's totally not!

GameMaker: Studio is on steam.

Scary.

The whole Software thing is cool idea, though.

Yeah, I saw this. It's cool that the games can be published on steam now too.

The prices for the full versions are outrageous though.

The nice difference between Steam and YYG will be the fact that Steam will deny the Click the Ball and Pacman clone games.

They will deny them, right guys?

…right?

I just hope this means the gamemaker community will be represented by innovative games instead of that android minigame garbage featured in gm8. Probably need to make one of those 'innovative' games myself first though, heh.

There are games on here that use RPG Maker RTP sprites.

The apocalypse is coming, all right. And it will be filled with bad games. And so will Steam.

FSX, just a reminder that you still owe me Steam games. I might make my decision within the next two years. Be ready.

Achievements
so they have achievements for getting errors?

see thing is now they're going to have to have achievements for not having other achievements

like having an achievement for not having any error achievements

and once you get the other achievements you can't have the achievements for not having those other achievements

and then achievement hunting will be dead
