GM on Steam

I know, this sounds like a rip-off of my previous blog about a GM example on Steam, but it's totally not!

GameMaker: Studio is on steam.

Scary.

It never ends.

We won't be seeing this garbage outside of the GM:S workshop.

This is why we're blessed to have so few members.

And the ones we do have are actually mature, for the most part.

On a side note, I'd love to see a GM movie.

On a serious note, I'm kind of sad. Steam is taking away from the functions of 64D. T_T

On top of that, they have achievements. T_T

Right now I'm wondering how much time I should spend learning a whole language just to keep this hobby alive. I have some dreamgames locked away in my noggin, but I would rather just get better at pixeling and team up with a programmer who shares my vision.

That's my plan, Rez. I figure two people with two disciplines could do both of those things better together than one person with two disciplines.

Yeah, but, we have badges! Badges are way better than achievements, especially because half of them you can just gain by asking nicely!

Steam may take the GameMaker out of 64Digits, but they will never, EVER, take the laziness out of 64Digits.
