Codegame sucks

Codegame… yep it's a pretty standard platforming shooter romp.

However, I hope it'll grow, blossom or whatever, into a sort of Metroid-like project.

But somehow, I don't think that'll happen.

1: I suck at GML.

2: I lack motivation and once I get bored of something I'll move on.

Metroid-like game =

Different weapons

Backtracking and that stuff

Or maybe just a nice simple platformer? I'll work on it and see how it develops. I want puzzles though. And pushable blocks. PUZZLES AND PUSHABLE BLOCKS MAKE THE GAME!

I mean, simple physics for blocks and stuff.

However, you CAN ONLY PUSH THE BLOCKS ONE WAY, AND STACKS OF BLOCKS DON'T MOVE AND ROWS OF BLOCKS DON'T MOVE.

DAMN IT.

I'm using half-decent dummy graphics at the moment - okay, totally crappy graphics.

I tried to do jumping animation but the player does it even when they're not falling and when you press left or right they go halfway into the floor! This is the game from hell. And I made it.
