[l56] Ah, back to school...

Posted by leemcd56 on Jan. 12, 2011, 3:15 p.m.

Yeah so school just resumed last Thursday. Perfect. Well, it's taken up a lot of my time and I've also taken a little break to work on my own PHP forum software called "Pepper Jack" (because I effin' love spicy cheese). I'll have a preview of that up when I …

[l56] Nostalgia

Posted by leemcd56 on Jan. 6, 2011, 5:35 a.m.

Looking back through the years I've been a member of 64Digits I remember all of the good times the community had when there were ∞ times more users. Things such as LOLOMGWTFBBQ and the strong hatred for the Game Maker Community, as well as resentment against the GMG. I can't …

[l56] PLEASE READ (you will love it?)

Posted by leemcd56 on Jan. 5, 2011, 2:56 a.m.

I made two important updates just recently. I made it so you can hide the bar (My Page > Preferences > Settings > Hide Footer Bar). I know Canadonian and FirestormX will hate me, but it keeps people sane. Plus, it can be re-shown easily and is enabled by default. …

[l56] Site updates + Blog CSS

Posted by leemcd56 on Jan. 4, 2011, 3:34 a.m.

Here's a few updates I've made since yesterday:

  • Absolute and relative search methods. To search absolute, encapsulate in quotations: "Term". Otherwise, search normally.
  • Profile pages updated.
  • Searching through games.
  • Using input based filters: "in:users "
  • Easter egg.

If there's anything else that needs to be done, drop us a line …

[l56] Alright, back again haha...

Stupid *beep*!

I forgot my password for 64D after a while – typically I would enter it into the password field and have Firefox remember who I am but thanks to disk failure… yeah. That one came about from rabid use of a hard disk on a computer with 2GB …

[l56] Net neutrality dies

Posted by leemcd56 on April 8, 2010, 1:59 p.m.

Well guys it seems that net neutrality is once again under immense fire in the United States. Lobbyists such as Comcast, AT&T, Krueger, and Verizon intend to strangle money out of its subscribers and limit things such as speed for uploading/downloading large files, blocking competition, preventing certain sites from opening …

Percussion writing

Well, now I'm officially busy for the next four months. Thanks to me reaching out to friends in the area about my gift for Christmas, Tapspace Virtual Drumline 2.5, I am now percussion arranger for two local highschools for their indoor season and the "VDL guy" for another. …

[l56] avast!

Posted by leemcd56 on Dec. 2, 2009, 9:58 p.m.

It appears the avast! team made a mistake in recognizing "Win32:Delf-MZG" so I can't run any Game Maker game, PhotoFiltre Studio, or any applications that isn't registered in the avast! database. Genius. In other words I have to wait until the next update to do anything and it's pissing me …

[l56] Need help!

Posted by leemcd56 on Nov. 22, 2009, 2:38 p.m.

I desperately need help figuring out this mathematical conundrum. I've never been good at math so I'm pretty much fried. I'm trying to create a metronome in Game Maker (I have reasons) and GM is sadly so screwed up you have to bust your brain to figure everything out. I've …
