64DSC - DevLog#1 - 8Days In

Hey guys! I'm new to the Community. I wish I knew about you a long time ago. I hope I am posting this correct.

So I decided to join the 64DSC and have been working hard on it. I use the Unity 3D, 2D. I am really liking the rigid physics.

The Game is a arcade like 2D side scrolling shooter, if that makes sense. So far the level has Animated Enemy, Enemy Drops, Moving Platforms, One Way Platforms, and Exploding Skeletons.

For the color palette I decided to Limit certain objects to a palette but have many colored palettes throughout the level depending on the object. Also I have Pick Ups that can change the way the palette is filtered so everything can change palettes. I am going to try to add a screen shot if I can figure that out.

I saw that other were posting updates and I thought that was cool so here is my attempt.

No offense, but that picture seems so… pretty and ugly at the same time, bit hard to explain. I think it's because certain things aren't being drawn that should be, which you'll obviously fix.
