Hey guys! I'm new to the Community. I wish I knew about you a long time ago. I hope I am posting this correct.
So I decided to join the 64DSC and have been working hard on it. I use the Unity 3D, 2D. I am really liking the rigid physics.The Game is a arcade like 2D side scrolling shooter, if that makes sense. So far the level has Animated Enemy, Enemy Drops, Moving Platforms, One Way Platforms, and Exploding Skeletons.For the color palette I decided to Limit certain objects to a palette but have many colored palettes throughout the level depending on the object. Also I have Pick Ups that can change the way the palette is filtered so everything can change palettes. I am going to try to add a screen shot if I can figure that out.I saw that other were posting updates and I thought that was cool so here is my attempt.
No offense, but that picture seems so… pretty and ugly at the same time, bit hard to explain. I think it's because certain things aren't being drawn that should be, which you'll obviously fix.
