I find it sad how even some of the biggest independent game sites are beginning to crumble.
for example, 2 ones I like to frequent are:www.acid-play.comwww.gamemakergames.comyet these sites have gone without updating there game pages in months.I think the last time i saw a game added to acid-play was… February! With gamemakergames, I just think they're lazy about leaving reviews. I mean, there are still games coming in from gamemakergames.com, but so little are these games being reviewed.Anyone else have the same feeling? Do you know any sites that are thriving? Or other examples of dying sites.-playjamesgames
"everyone cool/important left gmg long ago so it is sort of a wreck "
the blame is on tigsourcewellmore onthe person who posted about the tigsource competition ON gmgI'm actually surprised 64D is still around this strong.
It's definately not as strong as it used to be (we had to increase the number of blogs on the front page to 20, because they'd never stay on the front page for 24 hours, and we'd get an average of 3-4 new uesrs every day), but users just keep coming back.Yeah, why is 64D still around? By all rights, it shouldn't.
Yeah, I mean when I first saw 64Digits, I didn't even bother signing up since… no offense… but it seems to be a bit of a wreck too. Although I can't really say since I've been here only a week. Does anyone have an idea when the forum might be back up?
