I find it sad how even some of the biggest independent game sites are beginning to crumble.
for example, 2 ones I like to frequent are:www.acid-play.comwww.gamemakergames.comyet these sites have gone without updating there game pages in months.I think the last time i saw a game added to acid-play was… February! With gamemakergames, I just think they're lazy about leaving reviews. I mean, there are still games coming in from gamemakergames.com, but so little are these games being reviewed.Anyone else have the same feeling? Do you know any sites that are thriving? Or other examples of dying sites.-playjamesgames
Websites usually all go through this.
Of course, it's a natural cycle… Everything doesn't stay everywhere forever.
That's life, sonny Jim. Pun intended. The forums on gamemakergames are still fairly active.
The only active reviewers computer is broken at the minute I think, which is why there hasn't been a review recentlyeveryone cool/important left gmg long ago so it is sort of a wreck
Even after downtime and a glitchy site, 64D remains strong.
As far as visits go, gameplague.com is seeing an increase =]
Home Of The Underdogs died a while ago. That semi-counts, I think.
I've been a member here since 2005 and the site's been going equally as strong as ever.
64Digits just will not die. :)
