Nintendo DS Lite

Posted by sinkhead on Aug. 15, 2006, 2:42 a.m.

I want one, however with my current wage of £5 a month it's gonna take a long time! I already have £50 however on Thursday I'm going to Alton Towers so that's £15. Then I'm down to £35. So then it'll take me 15 weeks to save up £110 but I've always got to have £5 in my bank otherwise I may run into 2 problems:

1) The bank will shut my account

2) When my web hosting it debited there won't be enough and they will cancel it

So that's another £5 to earn.

So how long will it take me in total? 16 weeks to save up £110 which can buy me a black DS Lite and a game of my choice.

Oh well.

16 Weeks to go!

$5 a month, where are you working?, a sweat shop?

I assume your still in school or something, I personnally prefer five quid an hour than a month.

*looks at profile*… I feel such a failure now, although I have no reason to learn php.

Games that I reccomend (with numbers for reccommended buying order):

WiFi Adapter at somepoint (unless you have a wifi router)4

FPS:

Metroid Prime Hunters (for wifi)3

Racing:

Mario Kart (good single player and wifi)2

Adventure:

Mario 64: Ds (port of old game, rocks your socks)1

Platformer:

Sonic DS (or so I've heard)

Thats just my opinion though, I heard AC: WW was supposed to be good but to me it sounds a bit boring.

I have a wireless router, but it's broke :( And I;m 13 and I have a paper round so that's the reason for my low wages. 2 Hours work on a sunday gets me a fiver. I've also heard that Animal Crossing is good, and my brother's getting a DS son so if we buy WiFi games we can play together.

Hmm…

Animal Crossing

Mario Kart

Metroid Prime: Hunters

New Super Mario Bros

Nanostray (don't count on finding it… It's fairly rare now)

Super Mario 64 DS

I gathered it was a paper round, if you want to play wifi you can do it locally with only one game cartridge so you know.

A lot of people seem to like Mario Kart. I'm more into relaxing games you can just play your way through at your own pace like RPG's. I prefer a game to have lots of customisability (like Animal Crossing) than a game with lots of violence.

lol, you need a better paper round. I get £14 a week from mine XD.

Games I'd recommend:

If you're planning on playing online, the get mario Kart first:- Loads of us on 64D play it all the time.

Metroid is also very good, I'd get that second.

Animal Crossing get's boring after a few months of offline play, but online it's awesome.

For offline games, I'd get:

Warioware Touched

New Super Mario Bros

Advance Wars DS

Project Rub

Pac-Pix

Yoshi Touch & Go

I actually have 23 DS games, lol.

They're all very good, but I'd recommend the ones I've said about first.

For my paper round I only do Sundays! And it's only an hour's work, hence the £5 wage
