About: The Last Treat

In my blog I wrote about The Last Treat and since it was my entry to Scary4Digits I will post it here, too :)

To meet the deadline and save some time during the asset creation I chose an art style that works without textures but takes advantage of Unity Pro’s image effects like bloom, vignetting, depth of field, noise, sun shafts, edge detection and refraction of light. I always wanted to experiment with those and with The Last Treat I finally had the opportunity to do so.

Furthermore I gave the 3d models a distinct style. With a toon shader applied in Unity that renders outlines and rim lights it looks very pretty.

This is pretty neat. I think it would be cool if you went ahead and made the game quite a bit longer and release it right before next halloween
