Starting my first indie

Posted by Hypernova on Nov. 13, 2012, 10:28 p.m.

I'm starting an indie inspired by some other indies. There's too many Mario fangames, and I'm sick of doing lame "Here we go!" stuffs. Plus most of them are pretty bad.

If anyone have any suggestions or advise feel free to point that out.

EDIT: A tiny progress on the …

The second I knocked, I could see an eye poke through the peep hole. Room 730, top floor, way down the hall. Service request for a broken oven fan. The door whips open.

“Oh, thank god you're here.â€?

It's a girl, rather she's a girl, a woman I mean. …

Nothing wrong with this picture...

That's a screenshot of my PC, circa 5 minutes ago.

Anyways, I had a great birthday yesterday… and resigned from my job today.

I was getting a lot of customer complains (Customers who dislike me for being English, being young, and from not being around here originally). So my boss …

The releasing of my API!

Posted by Alert Games on Nov. 12, 2012, 11:14 a.m.

I have been waaay too busy the last few months, which is why you haven't seen me around here on 64D. My last blog was in June, which is pretty disappointing. I noticed that my trend is to be very active for some time, and then become fairly unactive for …

NaNoWriMo 2012 update

Javascript, API, and Ajax

Posted by Glen on Nov. 11, 2012, 9:07 p.m.

Recently, I was messing with the three all together. I realized that I should probably learn a bit more about javascript and it's uses in web applications. I've always wanted to make a useful web application on a website using AJAX for smooth transitions and API to manage social network …

Something random/It's my birthday tomorrow...

I was bored. So I was mucking around with Google Hangouts, and wound up playing this:

(Embedded Video)

Framerate is horrible, which is not my fault. Next time I'll use something else. Or record it beforehand like I did with my Famitracker tutorial…

And next time… I'll narrate.

Anyways…

Yeah, …

poof

Check out this cute little thing that I've been throwing my spare time away on.

It's called 'poof'.

It's a bad-ass and simple to play stealth game. What more do you need to know?

WASD moves. Left click shoots an arrow. Right click poofs. Hold space to pick an arrow …
