What are you doing?

You're sitting there lurking on the page.

You're not commenting.

You're not blogging.

You're looking at the page that hasn't had activity for hours.

WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU DOING?

I don't mean that as an insult - what are you doing?

I do mean this as an insult: IF YOU'RE NOT CREATING OR MAKING YOURSELF BETTER, YOU'RE MAKING YOURSELF WORSE.

I'm starting to see progress in some people being stagnant. I just want to make games with awesome people, guys and gals.

Edit: If you really don't want to post, don't post. I'm trying to help. If you don't want to hear it, you can TOTES ignore me. :D

I appreciate what you're trying to do, Acid, but with this incessant nagging method, you're not motivating me, you're just making me want to slap you.

There are better ways to motivate people. Personally, I am always working on a project of some kind. I just don't feel the need to post everything I do on 64Digits.

I appreciate you taking the time to let me know what you're doing Steven. That's exactly what I wanted to hear.

Today I have started working on FBF as a break from working on Alternare and I am going to a party tonight where I'm going to get really drunk and work on it some more and hopefully have something cool to show tomorrow for #screenshotsaturday

Alternare is going well! I skipped this week because I did some birthday stuff on Tuesday night too with my family. But I should have some cool stuff to show this Tuesday/Wednesday AND possibly have an update on BASKET (with a better video that actually explains what it is after I got spike1's perspective)

I'm also working on some pretty good SONGS (where I'm actually singing and rapping) that I will probably never share here, but are pretty fun to work on.

My art has been stagnant but I'm doing a lot of other stuff, so I'm not too mad.

I am currently watching a stream of a guy testing my game for me while fixing every most of the 50+ bugs he found.

I'm also converting a few dozen redundant objects' code into one parent object.

I came on here to see if Steven or Moikle had continued the meme fight.

EDIT: I agree with Kilin that it is annoying, but it is necessary seeing as I have a lot to get done in the next month.

EDIT2: I'm also turning down a few dozen maxed out sounds (GM default).

Haha that's both awesome and terrible PK.

I'm relaxing after a work filled week. And that includes game development. But the second that working on my games starts to feel like work, I drop it and go read a book, listen to music or take a walk.

Making games is not my job; it's something I do for fun. The last time I tried to drive myself to make money out of my games, I ended up with clinical depression and was on medication for a month.

That's a good process Mega. And I'm sorry you had to deal with depression during that time - I have depression as well, and I have for years but working and being productive helps me fight it, which is pretty much to total opposite from you!

You have a crazy work ethic either way though, man. :P

And I've posted exactly 1 blog besides this one telling people to do something exactly two weeks ago. I don't find that to be nagging. :\

Well, I seem to have run into a problem. It seems an object is clipping into an object. Problem here is that I used a distance check. So, it shouldn't be inside it. Help!

if (sqrt(sqr(z-obj_player.z)+(sqr(y-obj_player.y))+(sqr(x-obj_player.x)))< global.twilong)

It's not the blogs. This demeanor comprises at least half of your recent comments. The best way to motivate is not to be a drill sergeant, but to show by example. Otherwise you end up tiring people out. Trust me man, I've been trying to motivate a few people for years now, and yelling at them to work hasn't helped anything. Showing them something cool, or something to work toward, has, however.

To answer the question though, I'm writing up a long document for one of my classes, whose work I'll be supporting for the rest of the year. Finals week is next week, so I apologize for not having anything fantastic to show. After that should be full of competition progress, though.

During my free time, I am doing one of three things:

- Working on a novel

- Making a game

- Making music for a game

I rarely even play games anymore.
