And so the story begins...

Hello, my name is <Removed>.

At age 10, I had a time where I wanted all of the "free" games. After a google search, I found a whole page of Mario fangames.

Interested in the program used to make these games called "Game Maker," another google took me to the Game Maker home page.

Within the first day of downloading, I created a dumb minigame called: "Shoot the Bunny."

This minigame, as you may guess, had too many mouse and message actions. There was also another sequal called: "Shoot the Bunny 2: The Revenge." I still kept these for laughs.

Then I work on games I planned out in my mind. "Foodle" and "Dark Eclipse." Both never finished. These too, I kept the open source for them.

Now really starts the time where I get the idea of Game Maker down. Still understand, though, that at this point I don't even know a piece of code.

I had once gotten a REALLY good game called "Kirby's Space Flight" about halfway complete. This too as with all of my games, I still, to date, have the open-source for it.

Next up, was when I first learned about forums. This worked out well, because it was the first time I ever released a WIP, called "Yoshi - Fangame Version." This actually had a good engine going.

Then, after about six months of using it, I final got the basics for code. Functions, variables, if statments, etc.

With this came a bunch of testing of different engines, etc. And also a progam called "Game Maker Ultimate Chat." This has been paused for a while, but will be worked on in the future.

For the GMUC program, I had learned how to use pixel-by-pixel techniques to shade, round, and recolor grafics.

Now for my current projects: Roadside and the SMA4 Engine.

Roadside is a war-based game from the viewpoint of solider drafted into the army. The engine so far is perfect and flawless, but needs enemies.

And the SMA4 SMB3 Engine is actually listed in my WIP. Check it out!

Hiya. Welcome to the 64 Digits Caolmlmiunneiotnye.

Careful with making clones… they get ripped up to shreds by unkind idiots if they aren't exactly or better than the original.

Welcome. You seem pretty intelligent… i'd tell you to leave, afraid that you might lose your intelligence… but then, this site could use some more intelligence.

Again, welcome! You'll fit right in, or stand out for the better.

- Sincerely, James Eastman
