Resources / Cage Matches.

Hey. How's it going?
I got the Referral Badge. Pretty kick-ass. I don't know who I referred, though.
I enrolled at the Game Programming University. I'm taking a course on Euphoria. (GPU)
I also might be teaching what you could call an Advanced GML course there. By that, I mean it will use registered GML Functions to make games entirely in the Creation Code of a room. This will be for Advanced GM Users, programmers looking into GM, and people who just don't like clicking a lot. Hopefully, I'll be able to start teaching this soon.
That leads me to the title. If I teach this class, I am gonna need people that could make sprites, animations, and small songs. This is because, to my knowledge, I need to provide students with resources. If you are interested, please post here. If you want details, I will post them as soon as my curriculum is finished. Then, I'll have to make sure I get the course approved. If I don't, I'll most likely hold a class somewhere other than GPU.
Also, with this whole Cage Match thing going on:
I posted in the recent news post, as well as in the Cage Match topic, this:

The Cage Match in itself has become a mockery, however. Ever since DToD made it.

Frankly, I wouldn't see a problem had you have gone:
"columnsX, a game by a 64Digits admin, featuring several 64Digits members, made it into the GMC Cagematch. You might want to check it out; Hopefully this will increase 64Digits popularity."

But, you told people to vote for your own game. People called you out on it. So, this time, you told them to play them both, then vote for your own.

And as for not truely being a Cage Match Winner, it shouldn't even be counted as a Cage Match Contestant. Chiken personally showed his game to the previous loser, who then accepted Chiken's game. Chiken then chose ColumnsX because it supported 64Digits, and he is in it.

As much as I dislike the GMC, and like cheating the system, I don't think any of the recent Cage Match's have counted for shit. This has been unfair to Mr. Chubigans, and now FredFredrickson. Hopefully, JakeX, when you are out of the Cage Match, you don't choose a game for it's creator.

This brings me to the point of this week's Cage Match. Many members are complaining, because Evolites is past the 10 week deadline. Look at the people making these claims. They are the same people that voted for ColumsnX because they are "Loyal to 64Digits." Isn't that just the kettle calling the pot black?

Frankly, I agree with what I am saying. I think it's bullshit what has happened in the last 3 Cage Matches. It's completely and utterly ridiculous. And whenever I point this out, I get biased comments from both sides, often similar to examples I use. So, frankly, if I point out the fact that the Cage Matches are more rigged than the 2004 election, don't go
Honestly, I don't give a rat's ass. If your vote wasn't biased, congratsulations. Go fuck a cow. If it was biased, you are just contributing to the pile of steaming horseshit that goes on behind the scenes at the Cage Matches. I pity everybody involved in the Cage Matches, nowadays.
Also, I just managed to salvage my iPod. I picked it up, and it was running Apple's OS, so I am replacing all the files with my backup.

So, that's my blog, I guess.

This blog is by Eternal.

There. If you don't like me, and don't wanna read this shit, you have been warned, and it's entirely your fault.

I am extending my horizons. That's right. I downloaded IO, and it's confusing as hell. So, I'm gonna hold off on learning it. I also have been toying with PAWN, and it's not half bad. XBasic, well, I still can't figure out how to fucking compile it. Nor can I find anybody who still uses XBasic. Now all of them use XBLite instead. I am taking the Euphoria Course over at The Game Programming University. I am currently on the first lecture. Literally. I just made a program that prints the sum of 2 and 2, and now I am taking a small break to write this.

Now, I still get people telling me not to leave GM. I am not going to say this anymore; <b>I am not leaving Game Maker. In fact, I will still be using Game Maker a lot. I will just be using other languages, as well. You should be happy, because I might get good and make you .DLL's and extensions in GM7.</b> Actually, here are my GM plans:
I am making 2 examples, an AI example, and an RPG example. They should be done in a couple weeks. The AI example won't be top-notch, but it'll be decent. AI's never been my specialty, but I'll give it a shot. The RPG system will be real-time, with levels and stats, and I hope it's really good.
I am making an oxymoron. The first Good Surreal Game in GM. WHAT?!?! I know, impossible! It's going to be a shooter, and here's how it's gonna be surreal:
When enemies die, they say something, and fade out huge.
Color scheme will be deep blue/purple.
There will be random holes in the lighting.
The shadows won't follow the light.
And those are just some odd examples.
Also, I am still going to make a blog editor, but not nessesarily for 64Digits. I thought of a new feature: Timing. I could use it to time myself on how long it takes me to blog, and then how long it takes me to spell check. Then, I could prove it doesn't take long, so that people have to excuse to spell like shit. Unless English isn't there native language. I mean like, txt talk.
So, yeah, I'll post more later, I gotta get back to class. XD!

First off, about my iPod:

It's a vegetable. I have a Second Generation, 4GB iPod Mini. I tried to install iPodLinux on it, last night. However, it failed. I know what I did wrong, too.
I accidentally made a start.txt file on it, instead of a start file with no extension. Now, my iPod just shows the Apple Logo, doesn't respond to input, and it won't sohw up on my computer or iTunes. It's in a vegetative state. "You say tomato, I say Kenny!", or, in this case, I say iPod.

Second off, my plans:
I still can't fucking find out how to get that whole compiling thing in XBasic. It's complicated as hell.
And, because of my vegetative iPod, my saving plans are all fucked up. I have been saving up for a computer to put Linux on. But, because I want Music and a Linux more than a Computer with Linux, I'm saving up for a Second Generation, 4G Ipod mini. Why that kind? I made a backup folder that had an exact replica of the contents of my iPod before Linux was installed on it.

So, yeah. My job should be starting in less than a month, but I haven't received an email from them yet. I don't even know if I'm going to work this year. I hope so, really bad. Now I have shit besides weed I wanna buy.

Third off, 64Digits:

I have been asking the admins to add support for .html files for a long time. I have been ignored, for a long time. Then, Herooftime55 asks, once, and a bunch of admins respond. The answer was no, but still, I don't like being ignored. Meanies.

So yeah. I'm not sure if this blog is long enough, but I am pretty sure it is.
