New Laptop

Since I am going to a new college this coming semester, I decided to get a new laptop. Turns out they required a new one anyway. So instead of sticking with their measly requirements, I decided to go big.

Dell Studio 15

Vista Home Premium

6gb RAM

2.7Ghz Intel Dual Core

512mb ATI Radeon Mobility 4570 video card

Cost: $1600

Turns out, I may have overdone it. I can't make lag. Actually, games play TOO FAST haha. I was playing Prototype and everything was happening so fast I couldn't understand what was going on. So far I've tried playing Prototype and Assassin's Creed while using Photoshop CS4 and Dreamweaver CS4 all at the same time and the processor doesn't go over 50% and the RAM usage doesn't go over 40%. I love it.

Nope, I believe the computer does it byt itself to save energy or something. Anyways, nothing can save me with that laptop, it's a 4000 mAh battery (That's netbook class battery)

You and I have the same laptop :D

Except yours was $200 more and has far better specs than mine… I got mine in February and it has 4GB RAM and a Radeon 3650HD or something. Wait.. Dual Core, or Core 2?

I agree though.. beast laptop. I love mine.

LOL i never knew how much fun a websites basic elements could be until I rapidly clicked the link "game maker" on the examples page :>

but anyway, ill have that kinda computer someday. but ill get it as a desktop. a laptop can be less powerful if you take it everywhere. i mean, otherwise people will get jealous, and its easier to steal a laptop than a desktop…
