Grid Alert (Part 2)

Posted by Shawnanator on March 13, 2006, 3:35 p.m.

I really need help on this, can anyone write me up a code or find one? I really need it.

A base creates an enemy unit every so offten. But when it creates anotherone, it overlaps the other unit… How can i make it so the units slowly spread away from eachother?

Who here has played purper? The spread like that would be nice… If you can find it in his coding, can you give it to me please? THANKS!

Your name (And Website) will go in the credits! Thanks!!!!!

Very simple and effective method of doing it. Hold left on the mouse button to make units.

If you didn't get my other post, Red Alert = Made by Westwood Studios, Grid Alert = Obvious Red Alert rip off, and you basically copied Westwood. But ah, don't take that in a bad way, they kick Starcraft ***. =P

This is not quite on topic, but will this game be top down, isometric, or slightly 3d top down, like actual red alert. Because I have worked out a way to extract the unit image files from command and conquer games so that they can be displayed in 3D by game maker, even unregistered! Wondering if you are interested.

Here's a messy example, i was just messing around with the NOD artillery from Tib Sun.
