Something other than GLUB GLUB.

This is my pet gl- >_>

I'd rather talk about non-glub glub related things if you don't mind.

I just got back from seeing The Dark Knight, and I have to say it was quite an awesome movie. To be honest I had high hopes, but when I found out it was going to be two and a half hours I assumed it was going down the same path as Pirates of the Caribbean 3. I assumed it would get tiring, boring and tedious, however that was not the case. There was not a single time during the movie that I wanted to look at the time, I was more intent on making sure I didn't miss anything. All the acting was superb and the plot was awesome. Without giving anything away I'll say that the ending wraps it all up nicely, not in the way that it concludes it and doesn't allow for sequels, but also not in the way that it leaves it with a cliff-hanger. Heath Ledger makes quite a good Joker, perhaps not so true to the original ones but the way the Joker is portrayed in The Dark Knight works really well. I guess the whole movie can be summed up with the word awesome.

I also saw Get Smart recently. It was really funny and well done, although different to the original, not necessarily in a bad way. I can understand how people who watched and enjoyed the original might not enjoy this one so much but I gotta say I thought it was great, albeit a little too predictable. These sort of movies always follow the same formula, action + comedy + a twist that generally involves the character you would least suspect. Steve Carrel is what makes this movie, he manages to pull off a character that is not only funny and stupid but is also an expert in his own field. It's not fair to compare this movie to Batman as they're two completely different movies, but if you haven't seen either of them I definitely recommend spending your money on The Dark Knight first, it's of a much higher calibre than Get Smart.

Oh yeah, I downloaded Hancock too, the quality is practically un-watchable though so I guess I'm gonna wait for a DVDRip, I don't have enough money for the cinemas anymore. :<

Hancock is unwatchable anyway.
