I dunno about you, it's good to show what your expression is a good way of communication, same goes with emoticon faces. And then there are posts in message boards with emoticons. One Emoticon is ok, but having more thrn 5 starts to give me the ??? (what?). Are using emoticons that much (I'm talking various stuff in one post such as happy, sad, joy, sigh etc) in 1post going to bring more attention to downloading or simply viewing one post.
I am fine with 1 emoticon, or fine with emoticons that make sence. Example in msn you have, "Blah blah blah this is a joke, :P I thought it was funny" (no it wasn't funny it's an example lol) maybe this too, "<_< you forgot the ) after the ) to close off ALL brackets, but at least you know :)". I'm not naming names but I think i saw someone with that one, didn't mind too much.Then there is this post with the maximun amount of emoticons allowed in this forum (guess). Again not naming names, but it was scary. Perhaps it was excessive enough or it made negative sense. When I mean negative sense, two emoticons looking excited next to each other looks like his way too exited, even though he made it. And you got various emoticons of being happy, sad and happy, that's amazing, an emotional changeover. It just looks silly to me. Ironicly I see this odd because the last emoticon used was the :(. Going to give a download, don't get sad over it.Perhaps I perceived the meaning of emoticons the wrong way. I hardly use theem much at all. I perceived them as signs of what your feeling and the last one is the last thought of your emotions. Or perhaps 10 emoticons is too annoying or oven 5.I wish it could drop down a little more, if you were going to show your emotions then might as well take advantage of the Post Emoticon.Nah I might be the odd one out of all this idea, so I'll be quiet about it.Questions (I'm a man with lots of questions lol):1 - Does emoticons annoy you if there is a lot?2 - What do you think of them?3 - Would you ever use them in most of your messages?4 - Is 5 emoticons enough already?I'll leave it as that. haha..I know what you mean. I remember myself when I first got onto these forums. I didnt know what to do so I liked them so much and they were so funny so I posted em a lot. Well..about for few weeks..then I realised the real usage of them and I dont really use em..wellI do ones like :) or :P cuz they make the post sound more…I dont know how to tell it :P.. see ? But I admit I use quite a lot emoticons on MSNM..but thats the way I type so..thats my opinion :P
I wasn't aiming at MSN really, more or a forum. No-one does a lot of emoticons when talking to me heehee.

I use emoticons, mainly :), :(, :P, >_>, XD, :D :o, ^_^, and @_@.
-ArcIf I find someone abusing emoticons here at 64D, I'll delete their post. I hate emoticon abuse, and I would love this site to keep a nice image.
