Final Survey Results (+Flash?)

Ok, I imagine this is going to be a particularly short blog even by my standards. But none-the-less, I've graphed all the basic data from the survey (Personal-Reference-free too!).

Find them here
Also, I've decided to dabble in ActionScript for a while, see where I can go with the new set of possibilities and restrictions. MochiAds provides a more purposeful incentive too :)

Anyway, another blog link for my first attempt if you're particularly interested.

Would anyone know how to reset the animation entirely after the player fills out their score?

More data on gamers...

Another update on the survey information for you guys: the importance of various aspects to a game. This one's a lot more comprehensive than the previous one in that results are grouped based on the community groups. If you're wondering why it's taking so long, Google Docs isn't very good at organising information. I didn't know this when I started out, so I've had to go and mix around with Excel and FileMaker to get to where I am at the moment (I've never used either before, actually).

Anyway, feel free to comment on something interesting - if you're curious about some sort of possible statistical observation, let me know and I might be able to whip up a table for you.

First Survey Results!

Hey guys, just figured I should let you know that I've finsihed collecting responses for the survey. In total, there were 1526 people who went to the trouble, around 40 or so were from 64Digits. Thanks again!

Anyway, here's the very simple, graph based on one section of the survey. As a warning, it's pretty biased - 30% of the responses were from Facepunch Studios. Just keeping you updated however :)

I'm yet to construct results on individual communities and based on singular groups. But that's yet to come, I'm only just working out how to juggle Excel and my database software.
