Bike trail blues

So i was strolling through the park today, when i came upon a bench. The first thing i noticed about this bench was there were no creepy old ladies feeding pigeons. So i sat on it.

I was sitting there for a while contemplating life's deeper meanings when a man in spandex rode past me in a surprisingly fast manner. This made me realize that i was on a bike trail without a bike. Actually, what made me realize i was on a bike trail without a bike is that a guy told me just that while he took a break from the path.

Thinking quickly, i told him my bike was hidden in the bushes. He checked the bushes finding nothing. I then told him that it was an invisible bike and was all the rage in Hawaii. He gave me a dirty look and rode away not looking back.

Once he was out of sight, i ran for the end of the trail, which wasn't far. I knew there had to be a good reason why the bench wasn't inhibited by old ladies.

The moral of this story is to always check your surroundings before sitting on benches.
