Uberman Sleep Schedule Day 2

I effin love web development.

Seriously, it's addicting. So addicting in fact that I decided to try the uberman sleep schedule so that I can have an extra 4-6 hours a day to do it. The uberman sleep schedule is where you sleep 20-30 min every four hours with the goal of increasing the number of waking hours to 22 a day, with an extra 28-42 hours a week!

In the last 48 hours I've had 4 hours of sleep. It's definitely taking it's tole though! I'm so tired I can't tell if I feel drunk or high! It's supposed to take a few days to adjust - let's hope…

I've been working on a new website. It's essentially an online sandbox for web development, focusing on HTML5, Javascript, and CSS (similar to JSFiddle). It will also have a GameMaker:HTML5 mode using my custom parser. Basically, it's a "simple" GM:HTML5 project with a custom made "execute_string" function - only instead of "execute_string" or "execute_script" it works more like "execute_program".

Using my parser it's possible to develop an online IDE that's waaaayyy different than the current GameMaker IDE. I'm planning to completely remove the D&D support and go more with a .Net approach.

This entire project has been under development for almost a year now in one form or another. I'm just so glad it's finally starting to come together…should have a basic working demo of the site up by tomorrow night.

One word. Nice.

Enjoy your eventual heart failure.

Yeah, it doesn't work well because your body doesn't completely recover from 20min naps.

And you kind of need your body, even if your brain is fine.

might be useful for a short amount of time, but like reidd said your body uses the sleep to recover itself.

I don't want to, but I'm going to stop. Even though i researched the hell out of this before I began, it was apparently all biased research…they all failed to point out what Ried said

Though since the body adapts to changes, I wonder if you do it long enough if your body would become used to it. As long as you dont exercise too much, I think the only affect would be a shorter life lol.

I mean I thought it was fun! This monstrous article made me decide that ultimately it wasn't a great idea though lol http://www.supermemo.com/articles/polyphasic2010.htm
