Haha, not too sure if that code above is going to work, but oh well, you can click the view button to see it if it doesnt work. I'm making next generation 3d models, can be used with xtreme 3d, or gmirrlicht, maybe even that ultimate 3d thing or whatever. There is a need for high quality next generation models with normal maps and textures, so i'm making a package. The first package i'm doing is themed around creatures from hell, that one above being a demon. There will be three other creatures as well, and some random scenery models as well. For more information on this, check out my blog at: Apothlegacy.blogsome.com
Not such thing as 'next gen', just high poly
okay, by next gen i am refering to the fact that they use normal map textures, and they are not high poly count, the count doesnt go any higher than maybe 5000 to 7000. They only look high poly because of the normal mapping technology, which is popular in…… Next gen games!
That's bullshit. So if I draw something in Zbrush I'm making a next-gen drawing?
Bump/Normal mapping is nice, but not something that permits you to call it "next gen". I don't use bump/normal mapping much, but my 842 polygon models look fine. By the way, that is 842 polygons for a single anime-style girl model.
dude, what the hell, i'm working my ass off to make these models, which are "next gen capable," so that no one here has to do it themselves and all i get is you guys arguing about the goddamn next gen-ness of them? Why dont you guys grow the hell up and recognize when someone is doing you a favor.
@Gamer3D - your anime girl, is slp, as in super low poly, i know its possible to make good looking slp models, i've done it before. but the idea behind this model pack, is to create something with the caliber of detail, and polycount, of some of the latest games, like oblivion or Doom3 or what ever.Anyways, if you guys fail to appreciate what i'm trying to do for you, i can just refuse to sell them to anyone on this community, because right now it doesnt look like you guys want them anyways. And @ E-Magination
Regardless of what you might think, that isnt high poly, its low, like i said, and its not a drawing, drawings cant be next gen, they arent games and dont evolve with hardware. The next gen factor of these models is not so important that you should use harsh language on a site populated with children, have some respect.@ Indecom - you said, about e-magination saying 'That's bullshit.'
i reserve the right to be upset, no one choses to be grateful for my services, then you wont get any of my services. Its a shame really. Instead of accepting the hard work i've put into it, you'd all rather bicker about the name of it. Thanks. So, i'm not releasing the pack here, You've all clearly shown that you dont want it.
