It has been years since I have touched GML. But just played some of my old work as a younger child and it made me realize how much I miss Game Maker.

As I am sure none of you have even heard of me, but I am decided to return to work on two games.

1.) A game either with some sort of enthralling storyline / or a game about smart AI and mass battle

2.) An online game.

I had a pretty successful online game going for a few seconds back in the day, and going to try and give it a new shot.

What do you mean by "smart AI and mass battle"? Large-scale battles controlled by AI? If you make the AI complicated enough, it's always fun to watch.

Hey guys, glad to see some familiar faces! JuurianChi, the name rings a bell, and I definitely remember you Night Hawk! and I think I remember you Bendodge, the logo looks a bit familiar I think. And thanks guys

@SpectreNectar, aw dude my page is way outdated, I need to update it pronto.

@Cesque, yeah, I was thinking like some mass War game, sword wielding ofcourse, I can't stand guns for some reason haha. But I was also thinking like a top down pokemon like game where you throw balls and monsters come out and they have an AI of their own but you can also command them to do certain attacks. Then no questions I am going to take on my 3rd attempt with an online game.

But I have a lot on my mind when it comes to GMG's just need to get started.

Would you guys say GM8 is worth it? I think I am still running on GM7 or even 6.1 and I recall yoyogames having a negative effect on GM

and if anyone can link me to a nice Platformer Engine, that would be nice, thanks!
