Donations by:

twisterghost ($300 Prize Money), Tim ($100 Prize Money), SpectreNectar ($100 Prize Money), DanRedux ($50 Prize Money), firestormx ($40 Steam games, bugfix/feature prize), RC (games featured on YoYo Games), valkyriegames (Renegade Ops)

Remember, this is a communal effort! This competition is only for fun. If you want prizes, give as you wish to receive. Suggested donations would be Steam games, Amazon vouchers or something similar, rather than cash.

Futher notice - please mind that donated prizes are subject to donators following up their promises, and that the distribution of prizes among 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th may change at any time.

Further further notice - monetary transactions often involve charges. I will not be paying for these charges, so unless the donators opt to pay the charges, if you win you may end up with slightly less prize money than is actually sent to you.

Heh. The sponsors might not like that much, ya know. :P

Nehemek 11 years, 8 months ago

From all this competition I'm just looking for the gm 8.1 copy (well the 400$ prize is good too, but I don't think I will get it.)

EDIT: never though I would make it to top 5, everything is possible.

Toast 11 years, 8 months ago

@Mega What? The sponsors would love that. Their interest is the free advertisement, not the giving away free stuff.

Have no fear anyway, you'll get your free stuff. Hopefully.

Hehe what Mr. Toast?

Astryl 11 years, 8 months ago

Haha. Don't rush him. These things are a pain in the ass to organize; There's a lot of Paypal juggling, contacting of the sponsors, etc, etc, to deal with.

Yaru 11 years, 8 months ago

With the judge recieve deadline being tomorrow… is NAL's vote the only one that's recieved or are you just too busy to update the forum post?

Well, university and working will make me too busy the next 4 or so weeks to have any time to celebrate so no need to hurry for my sake.

Astryl 11 years, 8 months ago

Erm… Didn't Toast say September the 31st? Have we skipped a month?

Yaru 11 years, 8 months ago

Oh, it's… not september. I just keep track of dates and the number of the month (2012-08-30 today), not its name.

Toast 11 years, 8 months ago

It appears I said September 31st when my brain meant August 31st

I was going to announce the winners yesterday but I haven't had internet for the past week

Am going to announce them today but only half of the judges have responded

Not sure if i I told them August or September 31st

ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH

edit: Ok I just checked and I did tell them August

Astryl 11 years, 8 months ago

I guess you could take half of the votes and use them to shuffle the nominees around and whatnot. Point based selection.

Or we could hopelessly try to contact the other judges and hope that they respond in due time and don't just do that "I'll ignore this because I don't feel like doing it" thing.
