We have liftoff!

Despite the naysayers' dire predictions, my MMO is off the ground. The multiplayer aspects of the game have been confirmed! (With requisite image of me zapping my brother with a lightning gun)

What's next:

*With multiplayer functionality tested and confirmed, balancing becomes a key issue. My tests have shown several things:

1. Continuous weapons (Machine Gun, Lightning) are too powerful. I expect I will have to introduce some counters to these, and decrease their attack

2. Conversely, Missiles and Pulse Shells are too weak. This may be fixed by nerfing the LG and MG, though.

3. There are some repeatable errors with the map creation/recreation process on certain computers. I am going to try to correct these to eliminate the possibility of players going through water areas.

4. The different tank bodies work as desired.

5. I need more strategy in combat. Perhaps indroducing shields or area weapons will fix this problem.

6. Walls are too much shielding. If you sit in a building with a lightning gun, you can utterly decimate anyone trying to get in while taking very little damage yourself. Perhaps an energy-meter will fix this problem.
