Guess what? School's closed. Check out this page:

Crazy. I'm like the only one, however, who didn't receive the phone call- wait, my mom is yelling at my dad who called, who has the speakers a full blast, and my dad is yelling over the gunfire that the superintendent called to say school's cancelled. Great. What about those people sleeping in the gym? I geuss they get some more peace and quiet tomorrow morning.

Damn. I had a nice day of school all planned out tomorrow: listen in class, do homework when get bored, and then go home after done with homework after 7th period.

Meh.

Now I have a whole free day (my little brother just yelled awesome after I heard an explosion.) to do nothing. Meh.

Well, today, I nearly collapsed while riding my bike to school. I left ten minutes before school starts, and it's a twelve minute plough ride. (Another explosion. I really should stop typing a play with them.) I got to school at 6:57, which is four minutes early in my time. I though it was the smoke. Guess I had that mental-type asthma. Those people whol have the real-type asthma must really have trouble. Anyways, the air REALLY (<- adverb, describes adjective) stunk today. Like a little less than cigarrette smoke. In my PreCal class, I got in a conversation with my teacher about the air, but it eventually came to she would go door-to-door to collect the homework if it came to no school. I really hope she doesn't, because she's the type my mother would REALLY (<- adverb, describes extent of verb) get into a conversation with. Meh. Anyways, I realized it wasn't the smoke when my dad said:

CONVERSATION START!!

DAD: Today, on the way back from work, people were staring at me.

ME: What was it this time?

DAD: People are wearing gas masks, while I'm there, barely breathin', ploughing my way up the hill on my bike!

ME: Eh?

DAD: I don't know why so many people are wearing those things. Some guy asked me how I could do that. I told him the PPM is really low today, there's barely any large dust in the air. The stuff that you small is really small. Barely any amount.

How do you know that?

Because I've been in a volcano eruption!

*LOL*

CONVERSATION END!!

Yeah, my dad has been in a volcano eruption. Mount Penatuba, Phillipines, 1991 I'm sure, a few days after my parents got married. They married in the Phillipines. My mom's the native. (LOL HE GOT AN ISLAND GIRL XP). Anyways, they both say they couldn't leave for the US about 3 weeks because of all the ash that was raining. That's one reason why they couldn't leave.

Anyways, I figure I should stop now and go play FarCry with my family. My mom would play, but her PC doesn't support anti-aliasing, so she gets really dizzy in a few minutes. Anyways, she's doing the dishes.

I might put some screenshots of my game into my projects folder, if it's allowed. Not today, though. I have to say, those sparks are pretty awesome, along with the explosions, and the bulletholes. The bulletholes I'm really proud of. It took me forever to find the right values for the normal maps. Anyways,

I wish you all have a great rest of the day!

Seeya.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say, I finally got off that wretched wireless connection. Now I have a solid wire connection sticking out of my laptop, out the wall, and into the hub, which goes into the wireless hub, which goes into the cable modem, which goes into the wall, which….[etc]

Anyways, it's about 44 MBPS faster (100 mbps fools!) and I can finally play FarCry multiplayer with no crashes! YEAH!

Right, I heard about those fires. I saw the ".ca" and wondered what other reason your school might be closed for.

How is it down there?
