Wow, this was so fun. Everything about it is superb. Another game I hand out a rare 10/10 to.

Graphics wise, freaking awesome. Gameplay and Originality? You screwed it up again. In all the products i've seen from you FF, I've seen games almost identical in concept. Graphics-wise you could hardly do better, but there is nothing more important than an original concept, instead of these old concepts that we've played before put into a nicer shell.

As an asteroid game it's good, but as an FredFredrickson game, I don't see enough new ideas and features... But the graphics are once again brilliant work of art! Overall WIP ranking 9/10.

what? 6/10 and only two ratings? It must've ignored my rating! And if melee has gave a 10 then Rhys must've give as low as 2... Umbolievable...

Thanks Rhys, I like for my games to get railed by a guy working on yet another unoriginal top down shooter and yet another effects engine. If a game is fun, and looks nice, what's the problem if it doesn't break the mold as a basic WIP?

I would say that the most important concept is whether or not the game is fun... after all, what's a good concept if your game is no fun to play?

On top of that, I don't see why you said I "screwed up again." When was the last time I released a game that was only half-baked under the hood? Everything I've done so far has been met with great reviews.

I would just go ahead and delete your comment for giving me such a ridiculously low rating (2/10, if the counter is correct), but this time I'm going to leave it up, to show others how ridiculous your logic is. "Oh sure, it's a WIP, and it looks great, and there isn't anything inherently wrong with it... but it doesn't have anything original yet, so -8 points, for a 2/10 rating." Gimme a break.

Ahaa!!! Now I can vote again (weird...) so this time it should raise the level of average rating a bit... So a 9/10 it shall be again, mostly for the graphics yet, but I count on FF, he will produce something cool out of this if he just wants to...

yet another effects engine
I tell you, the Effects Engine was the first effects engine released for GML, I made absolute sure of that. There's no problem with upgrading my original EE. As for CO, That's one game I've made unoriginal. Reason? I wanted to try something new. I had always been making original stuff and would've liked to seen what I can do with a top-down game. I gave my opinion, whether you find it true or false, deal with it. As for my unfair rating, i've re-rated it, giving you a 7 now.

And I don't mean new as in original, I mean new as in going with a type of game I enjoy instead of creating new concepts. It's an experiment.

Well everything else I've done has been original; it's not as if I go around the net looking for things to copy. So for the future, please don't insinuate that all I do is copy others and make their games look better.

Beautiful, stunningly beautiful. Terribly unoriginal, but still fun. I wont be playing this very long though.

Awesome game. Yes, it's an asteroids re-make, but so what? When it plays, looks and sounds this good, who cares whether the concept is original? 10/10
