Motion Trail
This is a simple fading motion trail example with a customizable smothness value. Examples similar to mine, use the creation of objects for the effect; mine uses the Draw event :)

Good things:
Motion blur...

Bad things:
There is easier way to make motion blur

Nasty. You don't even bother cleaning up the array. Better examples can be found for this.

I'll give it a 5 because the sprite was not too bad. But I do agree with most of the above comments.

Give me a better example and I'll agree. I say this is pretty good. I could use this. 7/10

I know there are easier and better ways to do it, but none that I've seen uses one instance. Please give a link to prove me wrong.

IOS is right. Also it is quite ugly looking.

This effect would be perfect for a Ping Pong game.

Why don't you give me some constructive criticism instead of just saying, "OMG!", and "fail". I have no idea what to improve/change. Also, this is not supposed be a hyper-realistic-using blending example,if you want that check DF's example.

If you think the trail is to choppy:

Do you guys even look at the source code?

The trail shouldn't change sprite as the player does. Thats the biggest problem with it as far as I can tell.

Briefly scanning the code tells me that if that variable were to be increased, the array would be filled up very quickly, and would shortly throw a array index error. The seemly harsh comments are perfectly just.

Hey Hey guys, don't trash it completely, instead of just saying Fail Licious try to help him find the better ones.

Anyway, exact same type of motion trail as in my game D-Fence Turretz. It has hardly any code so its extremly convienent but ineffiecent. NT though.

Search Motion Trail examples up there are tonz
