I love this game! Also the right click is a bit buggy in build mode.

How do you get rid of those dirt circles that appear after you delete something?

Just walk over them in construction mode. Sorry, that should be more apparent. I'm working on making everything more user-friendly and easy to understand at the moment.

This game is fun. It is always nice to see something nice and new. I love the torches and the smoke effect. I understand your game is a work in progress, but you really should have added some documentation. I was able to figure out how to survive after playing it through a few times, but many things are still a mystery; is there a endgame? What are the mailboxes for? the yaks? the dogs? the flies? What exactly are the things that attack the farm? Why do the turrets stop working periodically? (I would not worry about making it so 'intuitive'; eg. Dwarf Fortress works well with an archaic interface complemented by an extremely comprehensive wiki). I think that in order for the day-night cycle to work well there needs to be a very clear distinction between the two time periods; it seemed awkward for attacking creatures to remain into the day. The only other issue is FPS death -- it went from 40 fps at the start to about 20 fps after playing for several minutes -- though that is expected as I played this game on Linux using WINE. But, please, be sure to make this game as accessible as possible to play on slower computers.

Yeah maybe make the bullet holes that the player hasn't even seen for a while disappear or something. You could even make them deactivate and then reactivate when the screen goes over them.

Today, I updated the game. Lots of bug fixes, small changes, and optimization fixes.

Some of it includes:

fixed wolves being able to destroy plots
you can now get rid of dirt holes and other obstructions by walking over them (even while not in construction mode)
during the day, any remaining enemy on the field (within a certain distance) will now dissapear.
bullet holes stay on the field for much less time
improved optimization (especially when raining)
easier to delete objects via right click (you can hold and drag it now)
stone walls have been removed
turret hp increased to 10 (from 6)

Those are wolves? I thought they were wild cows that ran in for the express purpose of trampling my crops. Hilarious!

Yeah, there are badgers (brown dudes) and wolves (gray dudes). Wolves kill your animals and badgers fuck up your plots.

Just wanted to throw in a little holiday update, just for funsies. Santa hats! Snow! Reindeer noses! Snowmen!

Are snowmen alive? If so this will become one of my favourite games! (or at least if they are on your team)

I would probably cry if I saw a naked farmer.
