Vespere Devlog 1

Posted by Castypher on April 5, 2014, 6:46 p.m.

Five days in, I still don't have much because I'm trying to juggle this and school, and in fact, I'm postponing another Unity project for a class with this one. But I digress.

Vespere is a puzzle game about manipulating eight kinds of energy, the elements of which correspond to …

Prismaticka, blog no. 1

Posted by Cosine on April 5, 2014, 3:02 p.m.

2 days into making my competition game, Prismaticka. I'm mostly just working on under-the-hood mechanics at the moment, so things aren't gonna be that pretty.

Currently, I've got a system set up where you can form colors by adding together different amounts of red, green, and blue together. One part …

64DSCadventure #1

So I'm not sure if i'm going to enter this game in the competition yet, but I'm greatly considering at least submitting a demo.

I hope it's not against the rules to use a simple engine I developed (little to zero content).

Nonetheless, this is the first devlog for my …

Posted by Astryl on April 4, 2014, 5:16 p.m.

I've been disconnected from the net since early this morning… or was it yesterday? Can't remember.

Either way, when that kind of thing happens, I get stuff done. And things get stuffed up too.

I added two weapons to the game. The first is one that I wanted to add …

64DSC

For better or for worse, I've settled on the initial idea I came up with.

The game's title is Verdigris, and I would not be surprised if it turned out to me the most simplistic 64DSC entry. Hopefully lots of effort and polish will turn Verdigris into something interesting …

On TMNT 2014

Posted by mazimadu on April 4, 2014, 12:39 a.m.

I have never been a fan of any reboot to old franchises. Especially those made during the 80's. The reason for this is because those products were so firmly rooted in their times. The way characters back then talked, looked and acted is something that should remain in that time …

Questions about the rules of the 64digit spring competition

Posted by fromsoysauce on April 3, 2014, 8:58 a.m.

I'm not entirely sure what to make out of rule 4. Could someone please help me clear up somethings before I go off an do something stupid?

What does "content created before the start of the competition" entail? For example could I edit a few Sprites or 3D models that …
