The Wanton Defenestration of Incorruptibly Inept Technology

I.

Hate.

My.

Room.

Computer.

Every time it starts up, it shills 15 minutes on an automatic scanning that today, was doing nothing.

Checking Task Manager reveals that this scanning process eats… oh, my!… 260 MB of memory. That wouldn't be too bad on it's own, if not for the fact that 200 more MB is being used on a constant radaring of my computer.

For those of you who have played Lunacy Star, how well did your computer perform on it?

My computer eked out at 70% lag time.

I can't get any programming done under these conditions!

WINDOW, PREPARE YOURSELF.

I… did not know that you could do that.

Wow, thanks~

That doesn't help the fact that I need a new computer all together though :/

I mean, of what use is 1 GB of memory to anyone anymore?

Oh no… don't start talking RAM with this bunch.

What's your virus scanner? They always hog up a lot of RAM, so just cancel the scan if you're in the middle of a game.

As for your game, there were periods when it ran horribly. But that's just instance management, really.

You could try Installing a stripped down version of windows xp. Those usually run pretty fast.

I have a laptop that has 512MB of RAM, and even though it's a pain, it runs fine for what it has. It also has a single core processor. :(

1GB of ram runs Hammer for me.
