More on this later…If you have problems logging into your existing account, please contact me via our Discord server. New users keep in mind registration is temporarily closed, but will be opened soon. I will send an announcement on our Discord server when registration is open.Oh, and… welcome back!
A fireside chat with aeron
It's been almost a year since the incidents which sparked the development of a new version of 64Digits. Since that time I have made it one of my personal objectives to bring 64Digits (the website) out of the dark ages and back into the light. This release is, I hope, the next big step towards that end.Looking back, there are things I could have done to get us to this point sooner, and I wish I had. That being said, you all have demonstrated nothing but kindness and for that I have to I thank you, as well as for your understanding and patience. And big thanks to all the staff who have helped make decisions and contributed code along the way.And I'd like to sincerely thank Aistarin for his years of service to the community. Without him, I think it's safe to say this, 64Digits would no longer exist. For those who are not aware, Aistarin has stepped down from all 64D-related administrative roles and is no longer considered an acting staff member, but is and will continue to be considered a trusted friend to myself and many others here on 64Digits.
And so, a new chapter begins.
I'm going to keep this brief, but I need to reiterate that this is only the beginning and development continues for v5. Once the dust has settled from this launch, we will need YOUR help (that means you, guest) prioritizing the next steps for 64Digits. This first stage of v5 was developed exclusively by staff members, but going forward I intend to bring development into the open, collecting feedback and other contributions from the community along the way. I will talk more about this in a future blog. Before this turns into a wall of text, I am signing out. It's good to be back, y'all.- aeron
