Abusive Mods

I was in the 64d IRC and quietus posted this link. Coming from fark, I know a troll when I see one. Naturally I reported it. Heh, turns out that was a big mistake. I just came on here to see the status of the thread, and at the top of my page I get "Do not abuse the report system. +1 warn." Can someone please explain how reporting a troll is abuse? I'm assuming it came from Twisterghost due to the PM in my inbox that quoted the report. And to think I came to this place in search of community…. I may just end up exercising my right to vanish. I'll be taking pointything from the IRC chat too mostly because of Hootie_Hoo and gamerman abusing him, and I'm not too impressed with the maturity overall in there. Or even here, at 64digits for that matter. Way to go mod(s).

i blame the MODS!! well except any mods reading this. but workman has a point. i feel a slow but steady loss of freedom or control. more and more rules. i understand its in the best interest of the community but it seems inevitable. make and enforce rules to weed out annoying users which in turn takes away some freedoms of respected users. so i post a 3 line blog. i get warned?? I NEVER DO IT. im being hypothetical ofcouse. yup its inevitable. with freedom comes responsibility. because some abuse these freedoms such as the absence of limits on blogs and things, these freedoms are taken away from every1.

Trust me, when V3 comes, things will be different. You'll be able to ignore users, and lots of cool stuff. And special user permissions. =]

You have submitted no games or examples, and I can't think of who you are at all because you have apparently no memorable qualities. Feel free to leave, buddy.

I think the immature people are just louder…. you heard me! But overall no communities perfect and you'll probally never find a place where all the experienced users can congregate regularly without an ever present risk of noob swarms…. so take my advise, the GMC is worse…..

we're just having fun in this site, unlike GMC.

^Nice one. Over there, people are like "Hey…". MOD: "NO ONE SAYS HEY! THAT'S AGAINST THE RULES! BANNED FOR LIFE! GIVE ME $20!"

Well how long does it take for them to get accepted? It must take more than 4 weeks.

Thats because there is only one real rule at the GMC. 'Don't be stupid'.

Hootie is banned from the chat though… you shouldnt need to keep pointything off that much longer. Its just a couple people in there that are immature wm.
