Fetch Quest demo released
Posted on April 30, 2011 at 16:25
This is a game TakaM and I have been working on for awhile, you may notice some similar graphics to our last game. This is basically our last game reborn, and much better.
I won't tell you too much about what we plan to do with this game yet, but you can follow the games progress on our official blog:
Fetch Quest development blog
It is there where you can receive the latest news and downloads, not here.
Mirror #1 (Send Space)
Mirror #2 (Mega Upload)
Category: Action Adventure
File Size: ~7 Mbs
GM Version: GM8
Vista Compatible: Yes
Changes Screen Resolution: Nah
This isn't so much a 'get people excited for the game' demo, as it is just us fishing for bugs and criticism. None of the rooms you see will be in the final game, and many of the graphics will change. We just wanted to make sure our engine is bug free and fun to play before we start working on the actual game.
So please! Let us know what you think.
There are a total of 5
health upgrades and 100
gems in this engine demo. Other than that there's not much to do, once again this isn't the main game just the engine. Were trying to tune it up before starting the main game.
Another note is that we are aware we went overboard with the walljumping in these test levels. There won't be nearly as much walljumping required in the actual game, we we're just pushing it and got carried away.
We also posted this in a few other forums and are already working on a new version to cover some of their critiques.
Arrows - Move
Z - Jump
X - Sword
C - Ball
Enter - Pause [use the pause menu for graphic options]
[All these can be done midair]
Up + X - Uppercut
Left/Right + X[hold when on ground] - Sword Dash
Down + X[midair only] - Ground Stab
F1 - Info/controls
F3 - Record Video (series of screenshots)
Hope You Enjoy.
New webcomic, new blog. (Cocopuffs)
Posted on December 16, 2008 at 14:29
Hello there 64.
If anyone remembers me, I'll be surprised. I was active here a few years ago, made a few games and what have you.
If anyone remembers Twinsen, it has been canceled in it's current form, but me and takam are working on a new project, so no worries.
Heres a link to Twinsen if you're interested:
But the main reason for this blog is to announce another blog (wat?). I started a Wordpress blog, it's nothing fancy, but I'll be updating it with my webcomcis as I make them. And to kick it off I just made a new one:
Catch my blog with my complete collection of comics at:
Super Salad Blog
I'll be adding a few more as I make them this week.
Here's some Webcomics (Cocopuffs)
Posted on May 08, 2007 at 22:45
So yeah, I made a couple webcomics, for to looking at.
EDIT: changed the comics, no longer that bad.
And can someone please remove those freaking game badges. I never even played Columns X. It just annoys me.
So here are the first 2 comics I made. Just messing around, I didn't take em very seriously.
This is the first one I made, the art style is pretty awkward, and the text doesn't match at all. But I was experimenting around, so it's expected to be awkward.
EDIT: changed the style to match the others.
And heres the second, A lot closer to what the main style of my comics will probably look like, still, somewhat experimental.
I'm hoping to eventually get it to the literal laugh out loud stage. And if I ever buy myself a tablet, I can really do a good job on the art. Drawing with a mouse when your left handed sucks.
If you like em, I'll keep updating 64D with every few I make, otherwise I'll just start a free site or something.
My Banner (Cocopuffs)
Posted on June 05, 2006 at 01:23
Ok, I got a few questions about my banner (Which is down do to the file upload glitch.) Anyways, I figure I'de clear a few things up:
The comic is from "Tundra". It's an Alaskan comic strip that features mostly "Alaskan" humor. I don't know if you "city folk" would get it :). Anyways, I know the guy who writes it (Chad Carpenter) personaly, and have submited a couple comic idea's to him. I'll post one he made of them if I can find it. I also might be making a game for him soon.
The unedited picture of the comic is here, along with some other funny ones I found:

Yeah, I'm Cocopuffs. I really have no idea what a blog is, so, if I'm doing this wrong, deal with it.
Is there a way to post pictures in these things? Oh well, I'll end this with a snaple fact:
A flamingo turns pink from eating shrimp.
