Merry Christmas Eve
Posted on December 24, 2015 at 03:29

Man, kid me was a funny kid.

Oh my bad, I forgot to introduce myself. Let's do this again! Hai gaaisssss XD I'm a2h and I'm 12 and wat is dis lololol//????

No?

Well that bites. Glad to be back fellas, thanks Cyrus for getting me in, what on earth are you doing at your computers this fine Christmas Eve. Or Christmas Day, or Boxing Day, or whatever day in the future you happen to be reading this. Get off your chair, bed, or standing desk and go breathe some fresh air or PM2.5, depending on which country you happen to be in at the moment.

And what on earth happened to this website while I was gone, everything moved. And there's reading time indicators! Well if it's the Medium age guess we're damn ready for it. Plus I haven't written BBcode in a good while.

In good old 64D fashion might as well leave something to do with Game Maker here

docker run --rm -it --link display:xserver --volumes-from display -p 80:80 -v ~/gmwebserver/gmWebServer:/home/xclient/gmWebServer test/winexvfb /bin/bash
wine c:\\gmWebServer\\gmWebServer.exe

I could probably do with a copy of IDA Pro and some good reversing skills right now

ENIGMA site v3 draft4, and why IE sucks
Posted on January 19, 2008 at 01:51

So, I listened to the comments made on the previous drafts, and I've fixed these:
- The header isn't subtle (referring to the tabs) - posted by [i forgot who it was xD]
- The page should stretch the whole height, it looks ugly when there's little content - posted by [i forgot... again =P]
- Hue of header/site doesn't match logo - I noticed myself
- Logo too blurry - posted by many people, redone by a friend of mine
- Padding too small.. increased to 4px - posted by many people

And there we have our changes. Also, I've removed the small XHTML/CSS etc buttons at the bottom, since I think text looks better when the design doesn't have footerbg.png... so yeah. I've made some good changes, and also the logo has a nice drop shadow too. Enjoy, and if you have any extra comments/problems etc don't hold back from posting! Anyways, you're prolly asking for the link right now so here it is, in all its glory. But wait! There's a comparison there! And that explains the second part of the blog title.

Because of the request to have the page stretch the entire height, I had to change the header image so that it was no longer transparent, but instead had a layer under it that had the background colour of the page. Unfortunately, IE7 didn't want to render the hue of the image properly, and there is the reason why IE sucks. And there's heaps of other reasons that everyone who uses a decent browser should know.

Blawg end!

ENIGMA v3 draft 2 and more...
Posted on January 16, 2008 at 22:27

Umm, yeah. Draft 2 is done. I'm going to add a nice bit of rounding to the tabs in draft 3, so yeah. Also anyone who can 'shop me a clear version of the ENIGMA logo gets a free cookie, since Josh lost the large versions of the ENIGMA logo in a reformat (don't know about DFortun81)...

Anyways, as I said in the last blog, ENIGMA uses two images that are shared with my website's eighth design. Yes, 8TH. Thar, a link. Doesn't look too similar now does it? Anyway, yeah...

Now then, something not about ENIGMA/my website... I had the weirdest ever nightmare last night, and also one that seriously freaks me out. I dreamt of being stabbed in the back of my neck by this hypo kid I know, and that's the main thing I still remember. Oh, and the hospital had green walls. And the stab wound was painless. I also remember feeling stitches on the back of my neck. First thing I did when waking up was feeling the back of my neck. Erk. Freaky.

Anyways, I'm starting to try and learn C++ these days, because I want to learn such an awesome language (compared to GML), plus ENIGMA will support it anyway. Also, another reason is that I have an R4 so I want to use PAlib to write for it. When I was downloading devkitPro the installer said it would be something like 115 MB to download, and yet it downloaded less than 50 and yet devkit + palib ran flawlessly. I'm using Visual C++ 2008 with it and I'm quite happy :)

Also, before I end this blog, ima ask some questions.

1. Have you ever had a nightmare? If so, what do you remember of the worst one you had?
2. Are you good at C++?
3. Do you make websites? If so, do you use any WYSIWYG tools to make the site (for those who don't know, I use Notepad++ and Paint.NET, which means I would answer no to the second part)
4. Standards compliant websites ftw y/n?

blawg end

ENIGMA site redesign 2
Posted on January 14, 2008 at 20:12

Yes, I am still here. Only difference is that I play Tremulous a lot nao and I'm even more awesome at web design. Anyways, as the title says, I am doing (another!) redesign for ENIGMA's website. Reason? Well, atm it still doesn't exactly look very professional, so I decided to have a little chat with Josh and ended up saying I would do a redesign that looked a bit like Kubrick (Wordpress default theme) but darker and glossier. And so I came up with this. I'll get a live demo up asap so that I can prove it's not fake. Also, I'm going to say this now rather than later: it shares a few things with a2h's universe v8. Mind you the only similarities of the two designs are that contentbg.png and footerbg.png is used by both of them... (go figure out what in the screenshot above is those two by yourself)

Anyways, even though Tremulous is so old (ONE YEAR!), I just started playing and I love it =D my favourite servers are SST Tremulous and Dretch*Storm. It's an awesome FPS and you can choose aliens or humans. And other stuff. Just play it, it's awesome.

Josh @ Dreamland says:

Anyway, so I've designed a pretty sweet theme for Josh's ENIGMA site. Anyway, this blog is currently too short. So I'm going to add more content (DERR)...

R4
I has R4, but no MicroSD. Jumper DS is the first thing I'm putting on it, along with some demos. And homebrew. Muah. I'm getting the MicroSD today or tomorrow...

Exams
A whole week of exams. Finally over! :) I screwed the Japanese test though. I still can't remember the Katakana alphabet! Which sucks. Also, desu spam ftw.

Game Maker
I decided to revive BloodBall (a really crappy game which I made when I spoke LIEK DIS!!!!!!!!) but with electricity instead. Also, it doesn't look crap. I also made a Game & Watch styled game... look here.

My project site
Is awesome. It is no longer called a2h projects - it's called ion developments now. Take a look. Designed by me with Paint.NET...

Projects
SmartBar is dead. Don't ask why.

Something else about exams
They included general form (equations) without teaching us about it. WTF?

BLOG END.

Nooooooooo bingo!
Posted on October 22, 2007 at 04:26

National Bingo Night is so forking addictive.

Seriously.

Australians: Watch Seven, Sundays @ 6:30 PM
Americans: Watch... ABC?

Anyways, I was "glued" to the screen (first ep =P), probably because of the game cards.

I slowly realised that the show is just a cheap piece of crap that gives away cards just to get more viewers (instant prize = AUD$100, hmm, we really do need that much don't we -_-)

And the next day, everyone was going NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BINGO!

You see, the guy who says that and "Play On!" is called Tanveer Ahmed - go figure.

BLOG END KTHXBAI.

The Chaser's non-war on their Controversy
Posted on October 19, 2007 at 22:03

Yah, crap title.

Whatever.

Anyways, many of you will probably have heard of The Chaser. Or at least, that's what I'm assuming, because people say that the news reports on their APEC stunt has gone everywhere.

If you still don't know what the Chaser is, here's a nice link to their (controversial) show's Wikipedia entry: <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chaser's_War_on_Everything">here</a>;, and a link to their website: <a href="http://www.abc.net.au/chaser">here</a>;.

So what's the title meant to be?

The Chaser's show, "The Chaser's War on Everything", practically does that. Except for good publicity.

Here's some samples from their latest controversial stunt; their Eulogy song (which is avaliable on their videos page) -

Quote
Steve Irwin lived in khaki, a cartoon kamikaze, he taunted crocs and tops so frequently,
[...]
But that was all forgotten once they took their final breath,
Yes even tools turn into top blokes after death.
[...]
Princess Di was just a slut for sex,
When they looked in the car, a wreck,
Her dress was wet with Arab's semen stains.
[...]
And procreating Jamie was the worst mistake he made,
But all that was forgotten once he took his final breath,
Yes, even *toot* turn into top blokes after death.

Go figure. I like it.

It doesn't offend me, although heaps are offended.

Go watch for yourself on YouTube, and judge for yourself.

New project: SmartBar, and Za
Posted on September 29, 2007 at 20:19

Well hello, haven't blogged in some time. Before I get started, I'll just say that my website has finally been upgraded to PHP 5.x! Cheers to Steven from CoreFusion. They got free hosting, and few free webhosts support PHP 5! Yeah. =P My Wiki's been upgraded from MW 1.6.x to 1.11.0. Big jump =D<br/><br/>Anyways, SmartBar! My awesome new project. Well then, if you go to AeroXperience, you might recognize this:<br/><br/><br/>Hmm, a nice bar on the screen. But turns out it was a hoax:<br/><br/>
Quote
wow. that smartbar is great. i cannot believe that there was a transparent blur (glass like) effect in it. Core animations are great but a bit slow. and at the moment no bugs. I must i just made it in to the downloads because 5 minutes after i saw this screen:<br/>[Really big image goes here]<br/>It had changed to a too late screen. Hope alot more people got in early and got to test this wonderful app.

Mark.
<br/><br/>That user got banned. I believe the person who started the hoax got banned for a while as well, but he's currently unbanned. Anyways, I decided to take up the concept, and make a SmartBar of my own...<br/>Have a look here.<br/><br/>Anyways, demo coming out soon. Oh dear, this blog looks like it's big because of the size of this textbox. >_> Well then, what can I say?<br/><br/>It's school holidays. Woot. Umm, for two weeks. Woot again.<br/><br/>Now then, I think I'll fit a rant in here. ZONE ALARM SUCKS BALLS. No really. It's free, it works, but it won't let messenger log in until I turn protection off, then turn it back on again when I've logged in. Otherwise, it's an OK job. Also yes, I think Norton really does suck. People have brainwashed me for teh good! Nyahahahhahahahahha....<br/><br/>-a2h
