Linux

Well, today, I just had the idea of installing Linux, but I have many questions about it. Here are some of them:

-Is it free?

-Which Linux Distro should I get?

-Can I have Windows XP and Linux at the same time?

-Is Linux better than Windows XP?

-If I get Linux, will I be able to change back to Windows?

-Should I get it?

-What exactly is it?

Please help me. =)

Windows Vista

I was extremely close to getting Windows Vista. I was at Comp USA to get me a sexy monitor, when I saw at least five computers running Windows Vista! I tried it for fifteen minutes or so, and was simply amazed. Then, right next to me was the Windows Vista Installation CD, which was only $99! I called my dad to ask if I could buy it, and he said,"No"! Meh, life isn't that easy. =P

Microsoft Office 2007

Get it.

Haha, I get Premium for free. The only difference between Premium and Ultimate is that Ultimate has things like backup things and remote computer thing. I'm gonna order it when my mom gets home, it needs a credit card so it can be sent.

-Yes

-If you want speed and compactness over looks then go for Puppy Linux. You can actually install it faster than some computers take to start up. It's that fast.

-Yes. If you have more than one operating system on the same HDD, BIOS will ask you at startup which one to boot.

-Not an easy one to answer. I would say so.
