Description (from itch.io, not gonna write the same text twice): The Faceless Mountain is a short rage-game where you climb a slippery mountain. Use your face (!) as a grappling hook to reach places where your poor jumping skills would never get you. Avoid enemies and spike traps. They cannot kill you, but they will knock you back, and of course you don't want to... Continue reading.
It's Aistarin's dog!
(FYI, I can do pet portraits, or any other sort of portrait, as a commission - email me at [email protected], or hit me up on fiverr.)
- I didn't want to post a video where I climb the "mountain" so I made one where I come down.
- "The End" sign will be replaced with a slightly better goal (a giant start or something)
- I still haven't played the game through, so I might make some changes to the game world, but it's mostly final
- I tried to add as many "path options" (routes, that's the word) as possible, so you can try different routes each...
I first considered posting this to the comment section of my previous post, but there aren't too many new blog posts anyway, so let's have an own post for this:
So I have been adding graphics to my project. It's now called "The Faceless Mountain", even though the mountain part is no longer that clear. "The Faceless Climber" could be another option.
I'm also turning it to more a rage-game than... uh, non-rage-game. You know, slippery controls, a... Continue reading.
I decided to stop using social media (twitter, discord, etc) so if you would like to reach me, send me a PM and I'll give you my new email. That's how I'm staying in touch with people these days.
PMs aren't working (of course) so just comment if you want me to keep in touch and I'll figure something out. This is mostly for EV, Yaywalter and a few others.
We moved back in August to get awa... Continue reading.
As days go by, I find myself with fewer and fewer words. My top priority is me and those close to me - it is not to preach to the world. My concern with my own life makes me feel selfish. My time is mine, and mine only - screw whoever makes it shorter. I have enough time barely as is - I'm constantly finding myself with less time than expected.
I want to finish with Cursed Black, one day, because I set myself out to do it. It's been a dream of mine since childhood to make my own Poke... Continue reading.

Written in C# and Monogame. I wanted to try some OO programming again. I already did a game in Java and Xml parsing on C++ made me cancel that project (yes, I had been writing a small 2D OpenGL engine in C++).
Monogame is mostly good, it just took +1,500 lines of code to make it "bend to my will". I wro... Continue reading.
Strike&Oppose is a retrofied creation of a
PUSH game idea that came across me early in
2018. It's made to be simple in concept. PUSH
back the enemy tank and make it to the finish line
first or destroy the enemy tank
I've disabled the comment(s) and ratings due to
it being a fixed project in completion. The extended
documentation and other specifics about this game
are on the game page. It's very straightforward
and... Continue reading.
The year is 2018. I have just learned how to use surfaces on GMS today. I feel special since I've always refused (being a kid that mostly revolved around GM 5.3, and did not have access to surfaces), yet my needs called for learning. I'm excited because there does seem to be a bunch of possibilities with this function. Nothing too related to my game however haha.
I wish I could provide screenshots, but nothing yet. Progress has been slow for the past few days and I have just picked up this... Continue reading.

Game description, directly copied from itch.io 'cause I'm lazy:
"A Running Man Experiment is a tiny pseudo-3D infinite runner game - or racing game without vehicles. Its primary goal was too see if it's possible to make nice pseudo-3D graphics with Html5's canvas rendering functions,... Continue reading.
I passed my national registry to be an EMT-B. I am now a glorified ambulance driver, whoo!
I'm really just logging in to say this to the 3 people that still visit this site. Shoutouts!
ps. this means Cursed Black is back online. It's been 8 years of development, why not go for 9?
When you cannot draw a car you can always draw a running figure. Now I cannot call it a racing game, though.
I could write a longer blog but no one bothers reading it anyway.
